Dr. John H. Ehresmann
Dr. John H. Ehresmann grew up in southern California. After graduating from California State Polytechnic University - Pomona with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, he worked for Hughes Aircraft Company and was a Masters Fellow attending University of Southern California.
Graduating from Northwestern University Dental School in 1979 with a D.D.S. degree, he moved to Duluth, Minnesota and practiced with Piedmont Heights Dental Associates for 3 years. He completed a General Practice Residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Lukes Medical Center in 1984 and then joined Division Street Dentists. From 1985to 1990 he taught part-time at the University of Minnesota Dental School.
Dr. Ehresmann has gone on several volunteer medical missions with M.E.D.I.C.O. to Honduras treating the rural poor. Professional associations include the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association and the Southeastern Dental Society. He has been a Fellow since 1985 in the Academy of General Dentistry. He belongs to the American Association of Forensic Sciences and the American Society of Forensic Odontology.
He and his wife, Gretchen, have two grown children_ He enjoys bike riding, photography, scuba diving and model railroading.
Dr. Michael C. Remes
Dr. Michael Remes grew up in New Prague, Minnesota. After graduating from the University of St. Thomas with a B.A. in Economics, he attended the University of Minnesota and received a B.S. in Dental Sciences.
Graduating in 1976 from the University of Minnesota with his D.D.S. degree, he moved to Northfield and joined Division Street Dentists while teaching part-time at the University of Minnesota Dental School from 1977-1981.
Dr. Remes is a volunteer for the Minnesota Dental Association and will be chairman of the Scientific Sessions Committee in 2006. Professional societies include the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and the Southeastern District Dental Society.
Dr. Remes and his wife, Pat, have four children. He is an avid golfer and enjoys fishing and reading.
Dr. David R. Buck
Dr. David Buck is a Northfield native. He earned a B.A. from St. Olaf College in chemistry in 1985 and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1990.
Dr. Buck is active in various dental study groups in which he keeps current on new developments in dentistry. He volunteers his time in the South Eastern District Dental Society and the Minnesota Dental Association annual meeting. He enjoys all areas of dentistry and especially likes helping anxious people feel more relaxed in the dental setting.
Dr. Buck and his wife, Cheryl, have two children who keep them very active. His other interests include skiing, sailing, reading, canoeing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends and family up north at the cabin.
Dr. David Brust
Dr. David Brust is a native of Northfield MN and a graduate of NHS. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from St. Olaf College. Dr. Brust graduated with high distinction from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1996. He was awarded an Oral Surgery Fellowship at the Minneapolis Veterans Hospital where he practiced for one year. Upon completion of the fellowship, he returned to Northfield where he joined Division Street Dentists.
Dr. Brust is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association and Southeastern Dental Society. He is also a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society.
Dave and his wife, Anne, have two daughters: Katie, age 5, and Libby, age 2. In his spare time he enjoys outdoor sports and recreation, and spending time with his family.
